A tavat 2014-ben alakította ki a tulajdonos Németh Gábor slalom vizisí pálya építéséhez szükséges méretekre.

A Sylvia Lake 2016-ban rendezte meg első Canal Cup Nemzetközi versenyét ,ami a 2018-as évben a 16 ország sportolói résztvételével,igen magas színvonalat képvisel a Nemzetközi Vizisí Versenyek között. A Sylvia Lake egy privát tó,ami csak előre megrendezett eseményeknek ad otthont és síelési lehetőség is igen korlátozott.

Elsősorban a Magyar Vizisí Válogatott Kerettagjai használják felkészülési időszakban.
